This year, Oscar controversy raged over the ban of DVD screeners to academy members. Certain critics groups canceled their awards in protest, independent film studios sued, Paul "Crocodile Dundee" Hogan wished he had an Oscar-worthy film to send. The extensive staff at debated for a combined time of four minutes and 35 seconds before reaching our thrilling conclusion. We couldn't live with ourselves knowing that the year's entertainment skin conditions would go unrecognized. Scandal or no: The Skinnies awards would proceed as planned!
